But he didn't.

He crept for days and night, following Mole's voice "c'mon ma' boy! yeh'r almost there!". After what seemed an eternity, Tiger saw a ray of light in front of him. "this must be the exit" he thought, "Mole!, where are you!" he called to his friend, eager to know if indeed this was the end of the road, but Mole was nowhere to be seen (or heard, for that matter). Confused, Tiger crept towards the light, reaching what looked like a cliff once he passed through it. a deep, breathtaking, deadly cliff, and no sign of Mole. Just as Tiger was about to return, heartbroken and worried for his friend, he heard a voice that seemed to come from the sky above: "and tell me, my kind friend, where do you suppose you'll go, should you return to the darkness?"; Astonished, Tiger tried to find the source of the voice and, in a hopeful tone, asked "Love, is it you?" ""I'm sorry to dissapoint you, dear friend, but it is not I whom you call Love, I am Eagle" said the voice in a kindful manner, and at the same instant, Tigar saw something dash out of the sky and into the ground, and, just when it seemed it was about to hit the ground, it managed to gracefully stop, revealing that something to be what had called himself Eagle, a beautiful creature whose eyes seemed to bring wisdom wherever they looked. "Where am I?" asked Tiger, "where is Love?", Eagle looked at him with what appeared to be sweetness and told him "Love is waiting my dear friend, and all you have to do to find what you've been looking for, is pass this cliff. "the cliff?" Tiger thought, how was he supposed to pass the cliff without being able to fly?, would this be the end of his search?. As if reading his thoughts, Eagle said: "You'll just have to jump, my dear friend"

"I have to jump?" asked Tiger, looking into the deep dark abyss that laid before his paws. "yes, you'll have to trust Love to give you wings" said Eagle smiling "that´s why it´s called a leap of faith"
