So he jumped.
He knew he wouldn't make it, but he trusted Love, and so, taking a step back, he ran the distance left between the cliff and himself, and jumped with eyes closed, not wanting to see what could possibly be his death.
Only when he felt there was no turning back did he open them, gazing at the depths of the cliff, thinking of nothing but love, of no one but Love, and, just as he was beginning to think he'd made a mistake, he saw Love, as beautiful as ever, smiling out to him, calling for him. But Eagle was wrong, for Love wasn't past the cliff, Love as at the bottom. And then Tiger was no longer afraid of what would happen, for he had found Love, and Love had found him. Moments before hitting the bottom, Tiger closed his eyes, reached out for her and smiled.
And then he knew no more.
At last, everything was at peace in Tiger's world.
